Did you know that the email was invented long before the concept of the Internet and the World Wide Web came into being? The email has become every popular in the recent years and it is perhaps the biggest communicating tool among the members of the present generation. Google has now tried to reinvent the entire concept of twenty first century communication system with their new Google wave platform. As we all know, the Google wave is a new age social networking/emailing/instant messaging client from Google that plans to take the world by a storm.

The he amount of buzz around this new gadget is justified as it is expected to revolutionize the way we communicate over the Internet. The most important feature of the Google wave is perhaps the Google wave extension. A Facebook user will probably be familiar with the applications present in the social networking website. Just like the applications present in Facebook, Google wav also allows third parties to develop their own extensions or applications around the wave architecture.

As mentioned in the launch video, Google wave will be an open source system that will welcome programmers from all over the world to contribute something to the project. The Google wave extensions ensure that the messenger /email client gets mass support.

With the help of the Google Wave extensions, Google has managed to make Wave a mainstream product rather than an isolated release. Google has formally welcomed software developers from all over the world to integrate wave into their daily lives and workplace. Google strives to turn Wave into the primary communication device of Internet users all around the world. The extensions include a lot of features that are built up on the architecture of the wave and give the users a complete Internet experience.
